MiniDukan is a brand dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by the e-commerce sector such as logistics, vendor retention, timely payments, employment generation and customer education.
MiniDukan was established in 2018 with a vision to revolutionize the e-commerce business in rural India. The hyperlocal service empowers customers across tier 4 to tier 6 towns to select a wide range of products from general merchandise and fashion to electronics, at the click of a finger.
Within a year, the company has established its presence across 11 districts in Uttar Pradesh with 20 logistic warehouses, 2,500 Collection Delivery Centres (CDC) or kiosks and a customer base close to 1,00,000. By 2019, MiniDukan aims to charter its presence across North India with 40,000 Collection Delivery Centres (CDC), 400 logistic warehouses and by acquiring a customer base of 10 Million.

The introduction of Artificial Intelligence in the retail market has been a real game changer. The data collected by AI on our online platforms is then processed to predict not only customer buying patterns but also the time at which the consumer is most likely to make a purchase. The algorithms help reach accurate conclusions and thus, more personalized content is shared with the customers.
How will IoT transform the future of ecommerce industry?
The evolution of business models will lead to interactive online and offline experiences. Keeping track of the data through a real time and centralized inventory, without the use of IoT may lead to errors. Some of the best moments of customer experience in offline retail outlets, are those when the customer is moving around. Looking forward, smart shelves, beacons and centrally managed tags are some innovations which may be seen in the near future.

Big Data has already been recognized as the foundation stone for customer retention and will play a big role in the retail sector in the coming years.
